THE ULTIMATE BODY SNATCHERS?
The day after Christmas a friend from California called to tell me she had a major wake up call.
What caused it? A VISIT TO DOWNTOWN SAN FRANCISCO.
As a lifelong adherent to a certain political party, now she has a few questions, starting with:
Do politicians have the same incentives as those who elect them? If so, how could this have happened?
In fact- how is it that THOSE IN POWER have gotten so rich over the years while their constituents seem to be experiencing the OPPOSITE?
Where is all that San Francisco TAX money going? (see above)
Why do these same people continue to be re-elected?
WELL- for one thing- are you aware that the word Government comes from two Latin words that mean MIND CONTROL?
Look it up for yourself.
Maybe THIS is the reason people refuse to admit that those they voted for are running their city into the ground.
In fact, for those so inspired, see if you can find information on where all the San Francisco tax dollars devoted to helping the homeless REALLY go. In the last race for mayor one candidate, a social worker who had worked with the homeless for years, had a documented money trail.
It did NOT cast the political system in a favorable light.
However, the mainstream media gave it no coverage,
Their focus, apparently, is to keep people divided via political party, gender, race, and so on. Awareness might be a conflict.
(It comes as a shock when you realize most of our leaders- in ALL arenas, not just politics- are in the business of creating division. They know we would be invincible if we could just realize our collective power.)
We need awareness of such things, but only so we can focus on what we WANT- which, for starters might be to elect leaders whose energy is devoted to the wellbeing of their constituents instead of their own lust for power.
